Weather Conspiracy
Why is every big snow storm we’ve had this season been over the weekend? Why no snow on Mondays and Tuesdays when we’re closed? I’m calling this the big weather conspiracy of 2009/2010. If we’d had this kind of forecast last year we would have surely gone out of business. If you’re within walking distance to VOLT, get out your snow boots and head on out for a magical snow filled night.

Ironic. We used to be regulars at Volt but can’t get in since Top Chef. If we lived in Frederick City you KNOW we’d have slapped on our snowshoes and shushed our way to the delectables that reside there at Volt. Tell Bryan he needs to fulfill his promise to Rosemary Derosa — the cooking teacher at Kingsview Middle School in Germantown. They met on the plane to LA when Rosie was heading there to greet her first grandchild. Rosie’s got a brain tumor now. It’s looking very good for recovery, but it sure would bring up her spirits if Bryan came through with his promise to cook for her class.
